I've been meaning to share these photos for a long time, but somehow haven't got around to it. In the midst of all Christmas craziness out there in the blogosphere, why not pause for a moment and take a look at this summer's adventures? And remember that the light always always returns in March, every year. For one week me and my family drove around northern Sweden (the following two pics below) and Norway (the rest of the photos), slept in cottages, went hiking and saw a looot of turquoise water and green mountains. The weather might not have been the warmest or most summery, but to me this is Scandinavia at its best.Figuring in the photos are my brother, mother and a stranger. (Dad ended up in the periphery)You can find Part One in this series here.If you're a fairly new reader, you might wonder why all of a sudden there's a bunch of nature photos on your new favorite food blog ; ) Well, with this blog I try to convey a certain mood. Sometimes that requires a setting to go with the food, sort of to give the story more depth, you know what I mean? I want the experience to cover a larger spectrum of feelings and associations. On that note, let's put a soundtrack to this shall we?[youtube https://youtu.be/dM6lFQysxtg]All photographs, recipes and content are Cashew Kitchen originals, unless otherwise indicated.
